An opportunity for healthcare providers from the MENA region to participate in an intensive course in tobacco dependence treatment in February 2025 in Amman, Jordan organized by King Hussein Cancer Center.

The KHCC Tobacco Dependence Treatment (TDT) Training program is the first program outside the USA to receive full accreditation from the Council for Tobacco Treatment Training Programs (CTTTP). Upon completion of the requirements, trainees of this program receive certification as Tobacco Treatment Specialists. The program's primary goal is to enhance healthcare providers' capacity, competence, and confidence in providing effective high-intensity tobacco dependence treatment.

These training courses are specifically designed to meet the needs and culture of Arabic-speaking populations, providing a valuable opportunity for professionals from the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region to participate and benefit.
