The Duke-UNC Comprehensive TTS Program offers a blend of interactive virtual sessions and online self-paced training, combining the latest evidence-based research on pharmacotherapy, population-based issues, practical guidance on running a tobacco cessation program, and targeted skills in tobacco dependence counseling. Duke-UNC TTS is fully accredited by the Council for Tobacco Treatment Training Programs and covers all core competencies for tobacco treatment specialists as set forth by the Association for the Treatment of Tobacco Use and Dependence (ATTUD).
Completion of the Duke-UNC TTS training program fulfills the training requirement to pursue national certification as a tobacco treatment professional. The program offers 30 CE hours and is accredited to provide AMA PRA Category 1, ANCC, ACPE, and IACET CEUs. The cost is $1,350. Participants who register before June 1 are eligible for our Early Bird Discount ($150 off). Group discounts are available.
Duke-UNC TTS also offers partial scholarships ($300 off) for participants who work with underserved or vulnerable populations. (Please note that the Early Bird discount and the partial scholarship cannot be combined.)
